Step 1

Step 2

Put the pot on the stove and pour into it the 2 cups of water, salt to taste, the two cloves of garlic, the onion stalk (without the dark colored leaves), the ¼ of whole paprika without chopping, and finally the rice, making sure that you leave it distributed throughout the cooking pot. But do not remove it with spoons or other utensils, just go slowly watering it from the cup to the pot. Put to cook over high heat.

Step 3

As soon as you see that bubbles start to appear in the water because it is about to boil, lower the temperature from high to medium-low and cover the rice. Remember not to move the rice or stir, this is the secret to making perfect rice.

Step 4

After approximately 12 minutes, carefully check the rice without moving, to check that the water has already been completely absorbed. If it is still wet, it is because you still have to leave it for a few more minutes.

Step 5

If all the water has been absorbed and when the rice looks dry and loose it is because it is ready. Turn off the heat, remove the onion stalk, the pepper and the garlic that we include to give it a delicious flavor, and serve.
