The discovery of America

In this video I will explain how it was the discovery of America. Many think that Christopher Columbus he was the one who discovered America but many historians claim that long before the Vikings.

In the 15th century the conception of planet Earth was of a globe located in the center of the universe and formed by only three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. However, the delimitation of these continents was not entirely clear.

The Catholic kings of Spain financed the project of Christopher Columbus and on April 17, 1492 the capitulations of Santa Fe were signed, a document that granted Columbus the title of admiral. On August 3, 1942 Coló set sail from the port of Palos with his three skulls: La Niña, La Pinta and Santa María.

On October 12, 1942, Christopher Columbus found the Bahamas islands and conquered them in the name of the crown of Spain. On December 24, 1492, they found the island of Santo Domingo, which they called "Hispaniola".

Columbus prepared a second expedition consisting of 17 ships. This second trip was called the "colonization of the new world"

On June 7, 1944, the "Treaty of Tordesillas" was signed, which was a horizontal line that divided the navigation zones of the Ocean from the Spanish and Portuguese territory to avoid conflicts.
