Differences between capitalism and communism. To begin with, let's go to the classic definition of the two. Capitalism; it is the economic and social system based on private ownership of the means of production. Also in the importance of capital as a generator of wealth as well as in the allocation of resources through the market mechanism. That is, total freedom for individuals to own and produce. Instead, Communism is the political, economic and social doctrine that defends a social organization in which there is no private society nor the difference of classes and in which the means of production are in the hands of the state that distributes the goods in a equitable. In other words, the means of production belong to the government and it distributes them fairly with the population. That population is all the same, there are no social classes.
