Types of chemical bonds. Intramolecular links
Welcome to www.unprofesor.com, in today's video we will see a part of the types of chemical bonds, and we will focus on intramolecular bonds, that is to say, those that occur between the atoms to give rise to a molecule.
We have basically of three types:
- The ionic bond: the bond takes place by section and acceptance of electrons, that is, by electron exchange.
- The covalent bond: in this bond, unlike the ionic bond, there is electron sharing.
- The metallic bond: this bond occurs between the atoms that are in the central part of the periodic table. This bond is distinguished from the other two, in that there is no sharing or section, but the electrons circulate freely between the metal atoms.
If you want to practice, you have below this video, some pdf with printable exercises and solutions for you to do them and learn the types of chemical bonds, focusing on intramolecular bonds.
