Law of maximum and minimum
Welcome to UnProfesor, today we are going to understand what it is the law of the minimum and the law of the maximum in the sense of ecological parameters.
The law of the minimum (or Liebig's law), tells us that the nutrient that is least available limits the production of any species, although there are a lot of other factors. For example: a species is able to live only with a certain degree of humidity and there is not this degree of humidity. humidity, no matter how much you add temperature, or glucose, or more oxygen, this species will not be able to produce.
Whenever the availability of this nutrient or factor increases, there is going to be a increase in performance.
The law of the maximum has to do with the law of the minimum, since it says that the vmaximum performance value is always affected by limiting factors. So I can't be at peak performance as long as these limiting factors exist.
