Write ordinal numbers
The ordinal numbers are those who express the order of events, objects or people. For example, if we want to say that three children have been in position number 1, 2 and 3 in a race, to express it in ordinal number we will say that they have been the first, second and third.
These numbers are usually taught in the first courses of Primary education, after the children are clear about the cardinal numbers.
In this video I will explain how write ordinal numbers in letters up to 1,000,000 (millionth). However, it must be said that the most used ordinal numbers are up to the number 20. From this, the cardinal numbers (32, 56, 89 ...) are usually accepted since it is easier to use them.
After watching the video, to practice writing ordinal numbers I have left some printable exercises with their solutions that will be very useful to you.
