Classification of polygons
In this video I will show you the classification of polygons. To have a little clearer on the classification of polygons, read the following explanation and watch the video.
Polygons are bounded surfaces formed by different finite lines that close a region on a plane. The vertices of polygons are the point where two segments or lines meet.
Polygons can be classified according to whether they are regular or irregular, which maintain a relationship of the number of sides and the angles. Irregular ones have a difference between their sides and their angles.
Some regular polygons could be the following:
In these following cases we see that it has the same number of sides as the previous image, but the sides are not the same size or the angles of the same value, therefore we have polygons that are irregular.
In the video I explain in detail the different ways of classify polygons. Also, if you want to practice what you have learned in today's video, you can do the printable exercises with their solutions that I have left you on the web.
