Nouns are present in all sentences and are essential for this to make sense. These serve to identify a person, animal, thing, idea or place

How nouns are classified.
Now that we know what they are, we can move on to showing the classification of nouns. This is traditionally divided into different categories. In addition, we must point out that together with the categories that we will go on to name below, the nouns also have other peculiarities such as gender and number.
The gender, for its part, is in charge of showing us if the noun is feminine or masculine and the number It will be the one that shows us if it is singular or plural. This will be very useful in matching these nouns properly with the corresponding verb. Let's see an example:
The house is on fire.
In this sentence we see that house is a singular feminine noun, so the verb estar also appears in that form. It would not be correct in any case to say: The house is on fire.
In addition to their gender, we are going to refer below to the classification of nouns, in which we can find 8 categories:
- Common
- Own
- Concrete
- Abstract
- Individuals
- Collectives
- Accountants
- Countless

The uncountable nouns are those who designate or name those things or elements that they cannot be divided into units and therefore cannot be counted. It is possible to measure them to quantify them, but they are not units in themselves. We can see it very clearly with these examples:
Water: water is an uncountable noun since it cannot be divided into units. In other words, we cannot name a water, two waters, three waters... however we can mediate it, for example, a glass of water, a liter of water, two buckets of water ...
The same goes for other nouns like:
